Hope you guys are doing well. Now, this is going to be a long post so please bear with me.
I have been an avid reader from the start and initially used to read a lot of fiction books along with non-fiction as well. However, I had no structure or sequence to my reading and just used to read the book I liked from the title or after checking it online.
A couple of years ago I got serious about my reading and got down and made a comprehensive reading list and decided to read about the history of the world and civilizations from the beginning of time in order to gain a solid understanding of history. I also want to name this reading project of mine.
I started reading about the history of my region, Pakistan but missed out on the Indus Valley Civilization completely and moved forward. Along this way, I read about Alexander the Great, the Achaemenid Empire, the Seleucid Empire, the Roman era (Kingdom, Republic and the Empire), the Byzantine Empire, the Parthian Empire, and the Sassanid Empire.
Now as I said earlier I wanted to start from the start, but I made a basic mistake and failed to add books about the three-age system (the stone age, the bronze and the Iron age). Now, I have edited my reading list and have added books about this time and I aim to study in detail about the various civilizations that used to fall in this period. I can share my reading list with you guys.
Now as I said earlier, I want to give my reading project a name so that I can tell people in interviews etc. about my project and can impress them about my reading habits. A majority of people in my country don’t read and the reading culture is very bad here. So I wanted some suggestions from you guys about what to call my reading project.
