There are books I read where I fall in love not just with the characters but even more with the author. AK is one of them. There are so many scenes that grip my heart and brain and make me think no one has understood humankind so well. What are your favorite moments in the novel?
I think the scene where Tolstoy really “got” me was Vronsky’s horse race — the lead up to the critical moment when he makes the small mistake and injures the horse, the moment of the disaster, then the description of the horse after….I’ll never forget that scene!
