Looking for chicklit or romcom but for my age group.

I’ve been so into Sophie Kinsella, Christina Lauren and the like. I’ve reread everything over the years. And while I was single these books did it for me.

But now I’m in my 30s, married with a toddler and I’d like to read something with a main character along these lines.

Does this kind of character even work in the chick lit genre? I understand most of the books I’ve been reading are beautiful, skinny women in their prime, ready to have sex on the kitchen floor at a touch etc. But I’m really looking for the more realistic side of it, if it exists, coz the characters and their lifestyles aren’t really making me bond or identify with them anymore.

So to recap, chicklit, light and funny, but realistic for a 30yo married with toddler reader.

Any suggestions?
