My dad is unexpectedly in a critical condition in intensive care after a routine procedure. We could be here a while and it’s pretty intense, so I am looking for a nice book to read that doesn’t hit any father nerves, and is quite comforting. It also needs to be compelling enough to keep my attention and give me a break from my thoughts.
