So as the title says, I got a Kindle for Christmas. As a kid, I loved reading so much. Then video games happened. I was big into online competitions, but more recently single player stories have been doing it for me.
This made me realize, I’m craving stories as much as, if not more than, the games.
So anywho, I’m here for a suggestion. The first book I read on the Kindle was ‘where the crawdads sing’, which I loved. Another favorite of mine is ‘a gentleman in Moscow’. I think what appeals to me about these books are 1) character development over long periods of time 2) 3rd person omniscient, but with a focus on a specific character 3) strong underlying themes 4) historical setting that I was otherwise unfamiliar with.
