I find better understanding the world around you helps eliminate bias and creates more empathy.

I hate to be the one answer person, but I cannot recommend enough the Scholomance trilogy by Naomi Novik

Try Female Chauvinist Pigs by Ariel Levy and Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés.
Also try reading as much fiction as you can by female authors that features mainly female characters. Some I like are The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver, When I Sing, Mountains Dance by Irene Solà, A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki, and Matrix by Lauren Groff.
I really feel your post. The social conditioning that makes us feel like we are in competition with each other is real, and it sucks. At its root, when we devalue other women (even if only in our minds), we devalue ourselves. It’s terribly painful. But it’s possible to overcome it, and genuine connection with other women is the most rewarding and fulfilling thing.
Wish I could invite you over to browse my personal library. Best of luck on your journey. 🙂
