Which book you’ve read changed your whole perspective of being a reader? And it feels like whatever you read can never be better than that book? Like basically a book that opened up a whole new universe inside your brain and you’d love to drown forever.

(Fictional books btw also a book which is not a romance based but rather the plot)

Macunaima by Mario de Andrade. I love fantasy novels and also have an interest in indigenous American mythology and folklore. I thought this book was the best example of a fantasy incorporating characters and legends from Native America. I think about it all the time.

    2. So Big. It has made me think time and time again as I raise my kids. It’s very easy to want your kids to be financially successful because then you won’t worry so much about them meeting their physical needs. I often think back to the last scene of *So Big*.

    3. *The Malazan Book of the Fallen*, by Steven Erikson. It’s definitely not for everyone, but it’s perfect for me. I read this massive ten book series four times in a row, and now I fall asleep to it at night.
