Looking for a main character who is just better than everyone else

I prefer sci-fi or fantasy.

I’m referring to characters like Thomas Shelby from Peaky Blinders who just out maneuvers all of his opponents through intellect. Someone who sets up traps to traps, secretly sees through conspiracy, is a complete bad ass.

I LOVE stories that feel like multiple games of chess are being played at once with multiple layers of conspiracy that all conclude with a bang!

Don’t mind series but a stand alone would be great.
