Epic chosen one, no grimdark, no YA. Like Belgariad, Riftwar Saga

It’s time for a new book series to try and not just go back and re-read the Belgariad/Mallorean/Riftwar Saga for the nth time. I’m looking for an epic chosen one. Not a deconstruction. Not grimdark. But also not young adult. Joe Abercrombie is fine, but not what I’m looking for. Sanderson is fine, but doesn’t scratch the same itch. Memory, Bone, Sorrow, and Thorn is good, but not quite right. Wheel of Time is brilliant, but still too heavy and not quite a happy enough ending for what I’m looking for. Any ideas?
