I’ve just finished The Luminaries (after owning it for literally year) and I absolutely loved it. But I have a couple of questions that I think maybe I missed the answers to.
How did Anna know what the contract said and how could she forge the signature so well if she was basically illiterate?
I’ve tried to Google but not come up with anything.
Thanks in advance for any help that will avoid me having to re-read 800 pages!
