I’m currently reading Sensational: The Hidden History of America’s “Girl Stunt Reporters” and I am not vibing with it. The thing is, I’m invested in the context (female reporters in history, esp stunt reporters) but not the writing. Something about it feels very humbled and then the narrative voice seems to change from factual to poetic randomly. Any suggestions for an alternative so I can DNF this book and switch over?
