Were there “grey men” and centipedes in The Time Machine by H.G Wells? My version is missing it for some reason

Just finished reading The Time Machine for the first time ever (loved it, incredible book), went to Reddit interested to see old threads about the book and it would seem quite a few people mention these “grey men” and centipedes that the Time Traveler meets between escaping the Morlocks and meeting the crabs?

In my version he goes straight from the Morlocks to the crabs, does anybody know where can I read this missing passage online? Thank you!
