Idk if that makes sense – I want fantasy but not like crazy disc world or lord of the rings level. I’m looking for books more like the portrait of dorian grey, where there is magic/some unexplained force but it’s not completely in your face if that makes sense. Could also cite Roald Dahl books like James and the giant peach (but i’m looking for something more aimed at adults)
