This isn’t a favorite book or anything but there is a scene in How to Build a Girl by Caitlin Moran that tops any laugh I have ever had (from a book) in a big, out loud, snort kinda laugh and I am chuckling to myself now just typing this.
Perhaps its because I could see my awkward teen self doing something so similar but good grief best book laugh I have ever had lol

David Sedaris “Lets Talk Diabetes With Owls”, he may have better books, I’ve enjoyed a few of the others, but this was the first I read and there are several anecdotal stories in it that had me laughing out loud. Stories I still remember.
He’s been accused of exaggeration and probably not all things being true, (it’s presented as a memoir or diary of sorts) but his way or presenting it is very funny and his observations entertaining.
