Does it drive anyone else crazy when they can’t conjure a face and voice for a character they’re reading? I’ll be reading a book and I’ll want to be into it but then I struggle putting a face and voice for them in my head and it’ll drive me bananas and it’s all I’ll be trying to do every time they’re on my page. Maybe I’m just too autistic. Is this just me?

That sounds uncomfortable. I generally do not have trouble with that, as far as I have noticed. If I see a movie, and I have read the book, it’s kind of annoying that people don’t look and talk the way they were described (and I imagined them) in the book.
Also, I watch some foreign tv shows. One was dubbed, but during the pandemic, for some reason voice actors health was at risk, so they released it subtitled. The main character sounded a a lot different than the voice actor. That threw me.
