Suggest me books that can provide me perspectives about work, especially academic/intellectual work. Preferable would be if it’s not one perspective, but a variety of them, since what works for one person may not work for another.

For context: I am a STEM grad student. I don’t have much to complain about academia or my research topic, but I’ve been unlucky for… a long time now. Here I am, still leaning towards academic research, because I still enjoy researching, talking/writing about it, and teaching. I’m in some kind of a rut for months now, and I wish I could get out of it. Productivity has been down, and even if I maintain a good routine, diet, health, and sleep – I can’t bring myself to work the same way anymore. I don’t have burnout, or anxiety, but I have been diagnosed with mild depression. Breaks and holidays haven’t helped.

I can discuss work, come up with ideas, but I’m struggling with execution. It seems I’ve lost some sense of how to keep myself working, and even if I set new goals I can’t bring myself to work towards them.

If you have other book recommendations for someone in my situation, they are also welcome!
