Tldr below! So I have been a big avoider of the horror thriller genre all my life. A few years ago, I found myself quite enjoying haunting of bly manor. Since then, I slowly got into enjoying everything that director did. Recently I listened to a free audiobook (Weeping Walls) which also had the same focus on the wholesome elements of life rather than what I always imagined horror to be (cheap, soulless).
So I am looking to read something along those lines, and if it is sapphic, all the better. Although weeping walls was too formulaic (typical sapphic romance) for what I am looking for. Thanks!
Tl;dr: wholesome, sapphic, well written mystery thriller, which will leave me with a sense of completion and cognitive closure
