I’m trying to broaden my horizon with books that I read. I read 35 books last year and they all dealt with mental health or abuse or drug addiction in some way. I’ve read those types of books my entire life and as YA goes… I’m running out of options.
I just started reading fantasy. It’s difficult as I don’t understand a lot of terminology but I’m trying. I know a few good series that I want to read within this genre.
But I now want to get into action/adventure.
Action: A book/short series that is almost constantly upbeat and bringing you to your toes
Adventure: Exploration books with the character is looking for something, running away, exploring but with interesting plots.

I read YA books mainly as those hold my focus the best.
Some books I’ve read in the past:
Six Of Crows by Leigh Bardugo – Currently Reading
All Kathleen Glasgow books
All Ellen Hopkins books
Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds
A Child Called It by Dave Pelzer
Servants of the Storm by Delilah Dawson
