“Bad guys” that are not bad guys at all

Hi first time posting here i’m not sure about the flair but i am looking for book suggestions. The title could be better explained if we think of arsene lupin or the characters from Heat (movie). People that are very good at what they are doing, eventhough what they do is bad according to society. And with those 2 references basicañly the guys are super clever.
