The Remembrance of Earth’s Past by Cixin Liu is my favorite sci fi trilogy.
They’re not for everybody, but if you can look past the weaker characters and simple prose then some of the big ideas are truly mind blowing and have changed the way I think about the world and our place in the universe.
Specifically the second and third books are fantastic.
