The weirdest thing happened today. I walked outside my apartment to find a binder filled with some pretty sensitive information (W-2’s and such, I didn’t look very close) along with two books (Think Again and How Minds Change). They were tossed in the grass so I set them neatly on the stairs close by so it’d be in plain sight, if it belonged to my neighbors they would see it. I go to work at 4pm, I get home 45 minutes ago at 11pm and they’re still there but now there are two more books (The Power of Us, The Afghanistan Papers)! I got excited and assumed the same person who left the first two also left these because of the genre similarities so I snagged em. Now my conscience is yelling at me to go to the address on the W-2 and see if I can find the owner that way. They may not want to books but leaving your personal binder with your SSN boggles my mind. I also work at a bank so the teller in me is wanting to secure that personal information so nobody steals this dudes identity. Also what are your thoughts on the book and which should I read first?
TLDR; Thoughts on “Think Again”, “How Minds Change”, “The Power of Us”, “The Afghanistan Papers”?
Someone left 2 books and a binder of personal info outside my door, then a few hours later 2 more books were there.

Maybe they accidentally threw out the folder without noticing? Or the details in folder belong to someone else, like an employee or client – even worse if it’s not their own info.
Is the person’s address from anywhere near you? Is there a company name anywhere in it?
I would be careful about rocking up to someone’s house, even though you have good intentions, just based on their tax file form. Could be anyone.
