Im really more into SciFi books but open to other genre’s that have this sort of approach to the story.
If it helps, i finished Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir a few months ago yet my mind is still clinging on to it even tho im almost done reading another book at the moment (Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin).
