I haven’t finished this book yet but I’ve gotten far enough in to it to give it a nice review!
This book is heart wrenching and just gave me a new perspective on the disaster of the Titanic. You learn a lot new facts about the Titanic and the book shows picture on how people, the ship, and more in it! In this book you read about people who went of the Titanic and survived this disasterous trip across the ocean. I believe this book is heart wrenching becuase you read how people had to leave their family behind going onto a lifeboat. You also read on what did the men (and some kids!) do who wasn’t able to make it on any lifeboats. It’s such a tragedy to read that just clenches your heart and changes your perspective, but a book so difficult to put down. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in learning something new or who hasn’t felt a book has touched their heart in a while. Though this book is awesome, if you are sensitive about the death of others or having to read about departed families, this book isn’t much for you, but I did read it knowing I’m sensitive to that stuff and cried lol. This book though is honestly a fantastic read.
