I’m so very sad to say that the last time I picked up and read a book was so long ago. I love to read, always have. Life just got chaotic, but now it’s more calm and I want to read again. I think some of the last books I read had to have been Young Adult Fiction, such as all of John Green’s books (The Fault in Our Stars, Looking for Alaska, etc.), all of Ellen Hopkins books (Crank, Burned, Impulse, etc.), Every Day by David Levithan, Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell… you get the idea. They were all similar, at least in my opinion. I wouldn’t mind similar books to those, but I also want to expand my horizons. All suggestions are welcome. Please help me find something.

How about [Fortune Favors the Dead](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/eb8c7ae9-41b0-442b-b3f1-8e01870fe219) by Stephen Spotswood?
If you want a mystery, The Word Is Murder by Anthony Horowitz is one of my favorites. There are at least four in the series so far and all of them are excellent.
Rainbow Rowell’s simon snow series is great – it’s been called the gay harry potter
the humans by matt haig would also be a good one
Right now I am reading The Definitive History of the Phenomenon of Serial Murder: Serial Killers: The Method and Madness of Monsters by Peter Vronsky. Nonfiction, of course. Really gruesome detail with a lot of interesting information so far, and I’m not even that far into it. Don’t know if you’ll be interested, but I just thought I should put it out there.
One of my favorite books is Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood (the author of Handmaid’s Tale). It’s an excellent psychological thriller-type mystery book that keeps you on your toes the entire time. If you like books that keep you guessing, definitely give this one a try.
