Hello everyone !
I am looking for (preferably) a good book that would feature a trope I really enjoy in media : the lone wolf and cub. In which a strong and kind of a loner character is paired up with another, « weaker » one through a journey and the pair form some kind of bond along the way.
Best examples that come to mind are from TV shows : Joel & Ellie from The Last of Us, The Hound and Arya in GoT or Pedro Pascal & Baby Yoda in Mandalorian.
The ones I already thought of that may fit but haven’t read : The Witcher series, The Road
Mega bonus point if the book is not too sexist because I tend to have less and less patience with that 😬

A knight of the seven kingdoms is good. It consists of 3 short stories about a large hedge knight and his new squire.
takes place in the song of ice and fire universe long before the events of a game of thrones.
