Hi! I am looking for some suggestions for some books that are good to read before bed. I don’t want a large mental load or a book that I’ll need to remember every key detail. Since September, I’ve re-read the entire Harry Potter series, Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson series as well as the Heroes of Olympus series.
I prefer the young adult/teen fantasy books such as those above. I am looking for a series as I tend to go through books pretty fast. Thank you so much!

Lots of pages and books, but light hearted and not too dense.
Maybe try Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer?
Gregor The Overlander // The Underland Chronicles is a great series for fans of PJO and HP. It’s written by the author of The Hunger Games.
The Reckless Series by Cornelia Funke is an underrated teen fantasy series about a world behind a mirror where fairy tales are true.
It has such a special place in my heart, it is to me what Harry Potter is to many people and I would love it if it would gain more recognition!
Check out the King Raven trilogy or Bright Empires series by Stephen R. Lawhead. Both are great and easy to read series.

For the past few nights I’ve been re-reading Huckleberry Finn and absolutely loving it. It’s just adventure after adventure after adventure and there’s a ton of subtle wit, but the language and pace doesn’t make you want to stay up all night reading it. You can put it down and be like “I wonder what they’re going to get into tomorrow?”
You can also get the N word edited edition. Twain was absolutely not a racist but he makes a point in the introduction to maintain as much authenticity to the time and place as possible, and that intro was written in the late 1880’s. The novel actually does a good job of exploring race and Huckleberry himself is not a racist by any means. Just wanted to put that out there.
