I want to read a book where the best friend is so obsessed with their friend that they would break every law and line for them but in a toxic and phsychological horror way. Like if they love or care about something or someone more than their best friend, their best friend would destroy that thing because they are the only one their friend can care and love that much. But definitely not in a romantic way, just platonic and more about obsession. Just a control freak willing to commit every crime in order to keep their friend for themselves only.
It can also be both of the friends that are dangerously obsessed with each other instead of one.
