Please suggest a horror book that’s easy to read

Hi everyone. I’m trying to get some reading into my life and looking for some recommendations on good horror books that are considered easy to read. A lot of previous suggestions I’ve found by searching this sub have suggested books that I’ve found very difficult to follow like World War Z with it’s constantly shifting perspectives. With a lot of those books, I find it hard to focus or follow the story.

So please suggest 1 or a few genuinely scary horror books that are page turners. I really enjoy sci-fi/fantasy but open to anything
