It’s a bit concerning to me that dark romance books like Haunting Adelaide are getting so much popularity as I’ve always been a little uncomfortable with it. I mean the book very concerning and sensitive subjects and yet it is so reverd and recommended. I don’t know it is is my close-mindness or if this truly concerning

It’s fiction. That’s not to say fiction can never be bad or harmful, but it’s important to separate from reality. I enjoy all sorts of stuff in books and movies that I would never want to encounter in real life. Fiction and fantasies that involve darkness are not necessarily an endorsement of that darkness.
Not my cup of tea, but I’m not going to judge because I’m sure a lot of people wouldn’t like what I’m drinking either.
