Looking for atmospheric books set in the deep south of the USA – preferably historic but open to any era as long as its the right vibe.

Any books that encapsulate the aesthetic and vibe of the deep south. Like bayous, mansions, rural south. open to really any genre, as long as its the setting i’m looking for, and i’d like the setting to be a decent part of the story, not just a brief mention in the beginning.
