The story was pretty good, but the abrupt ending came out of nowhere and ruined it. Maybe that is an allegory for the relationship between Leonard and Asher, but I still think it should’ve been longer.
Anyway, are there any similar books you’d recommend that (preferably) have a good ending? I’ve read A Man Called Ove and another novel I can’t recall the title of (something about a girl drinking bleach, I think), but probably nothing else.
