Futuristic Violence and Fancy Suits: A Novel, David Wong, Jason Pargin

Read it because the newest edition of the series was coming out, to see if the series was an idea getting into.

Based on the first book, not so much for me. It reads well and it is fun to read, but it has the feel of a script of a cool action movie or series instead of a book. Or a book published after that the serie has become a hit.

Some things work, like that every villain has an armor, but the face is open and unprotected so that the camera’s of the Blink can catch them doing cool stuff. Tabula Rasa as an even more demented Las Vegas is nice backdrop. But in total, is it not for me yet?

Question: are the other volumes more or less the same?
