Hi friends! Maybe a weird request – I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions on books about radiation. I have Radium Girls on my TBR but I’m wondering if there are any others that might fit that topic as well.

Serhii Plokhy’s Chernobyl: History of an Accident has an excellent explanation of radiation. So does his Atoms and Ashes, which looks at six global nuclear accidents.
The Making of the Atomic Bomb by Richard Rhodes discusses the history of atomic research, including the pursuit to understand radiation. And it’s very well-written.
