Hello im interested in the bible as a narrative but the little of the versions/books i have read are kind of just a list of information. which one of them are more like a series of stories? like the kalevala for example
** to phrase the question better, which books of the bible are the most interesting to read as literature/actual narrrative/story. in your opinion. **
im curious and i know very little about it. sorry if its an ignorant question
also if you have specific editions in mind id prefer less editorialized kinds and ones that are more “historically faithful” but i realize thats kind of hard and there must be a lot of different perspectives and standards on that.
