Nettle & Bone is a great version of that, although there’s not a romance. A nun has to save her sister from an abusive arranged marriage. Plus, friendly undead dog and demon chicken. Highly recommend.
The Fourth Wing is about a scholar forced to become a dragon rider. I think she’s 19 but close enough, and the romance is HOT. It’s a fun read, if not great literature. 🙂
