this book was phenomenal, disturbing and also absolutely wrecked me….. i feel so broken hearted for Jack and everything he must have felt during and after such an overwhelming emotional and physical experience..
the most traumatizing aspect of this novel was the main character’s lack of remorse..

i feel like this could make an incredible film if done correctly & absolutely FLAWLESSLY- which would be no easy task..

This is actually in my “fucked up books I’m not sure I want to read” list. Even the cover with the pink buttonhole is nightmare fuel. “My Dark Vanessa” is amazing if you want to stick with prickly books.
