Fantasy books with non-mainstream main characters

Hiya! I’m looking for fantasy books where the main character(s) is/are not coming-of-age teenagers or a mysterious young adult. Though I love these books as well, I’m looking for something a little more on my shelves that lean on the alternative side.

I’ve read several of the dragonlance books, currently reading the Mistborn trilogy and have the Sarah J Maas series already on my list!
