Hi all!!! Has anyone read Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke by Eric LaRocca? I would categorize it as a short story. It only took me about an hour to go through it but I don’t know if it’s me or if everyone is making a big deal about how disturbing it is. I feel like nothing shocks me anymore. My friend recommended it to me, saying it will leave me flabbergasted. I would like to hear your opinion on this book. Yes, I understand that the topic of suicide can be uncomfortable to some readers but it is the reality or at least that is how I see it. But I need to understand what exactly you found disturbing and why?
