Team,
I’m going to give you a brief statement about my taste that I don’t want you to take to seriously. I’m also going to give you examples of books I liked and disliked. Give me the best suggestions you have!
Social media has been smoothing my brain so I need to get back into the realm of genuine mental stimulation. I like philosophy, psychology, history, science and economics. Basically, I want something intriguing and not too challenging to read. Don’t care if its a novel, essay or normal book.
Books I liked:
* Picture of Dorian Grey – Oscar Wilde (Fav novel ever)
* The Prince – Machiavelli (Great book)
* Myth of Sisyphus – Albert Camus (Love existentialist stuff)
* The Stranger – Albert Camus\^
* Why Nations Fail – Daron Acemoglu (Amazingly written. concise, so I didnt get bored)
* Sapiens – Yuval Noah Hariri (How he connects the dots doesnt make sense to me, but I learned so much)
* Quran – God (not conventionally structured but really nice)
* The Stranger – Albert Camus
* PRisoners of Geography – Tim Marshall
Books I didn’t like:
* Moby Dick – Herman Melville (nice book but too long and hard to ready)
* Leadership In Turbulent times – Doris Goodwin (Author went off on too many tangets)
* A people’s History of the United States of America – Howard Zinn (nice content but kinda got bored reading it)
* No Longer Human – Osamu Dazai (it was meh, but surprisingly lingered in my brain for a while after i finished reading it
* Of men and mice – John Steinbeck (waste of my life)
* Frankentein – Mary Shelly (nice plot, horrible climax and end to story)
Change my life

The Mistress of the Vatican, by Eleanor Herman! It’s a non-fiction book about the woman behind one of the popes, and it’s *so interesting* and well written. A total glimpse into a part of history that I had no idea about!
