Came across “Kokoro” by chance late last year and absolutely loved it. Never really been a big fan of “historical fiction” or whatever, but the characters relationship with each other and their worldviews, plus the overall mood and tone was so beautiful to me, left me with a huge pit in my stomach but it was so worth it. Looking for anything that could scratch this itch I didn’t know I had, tysm.
