I know the book’s reputation as a great biography, but just wondering thoughts on it to see if I’m misunderstanding something..
Isaacson can not just write a paragraph without telling you the unparalleled genius that DaVinci was. I’m about a third into it, but just find the obsession Isaacson has of proving DaVinci was a genius exhausting. It just seems so unnecessary.

I didn’t not enjoy that book and haven’t read anything by Isaacson since.
I don’t think Isaacson has a reputation as a great biographer in any serious historical circles. He’s just well known.
