I cant seem to pinpoint what the exact genre of stuff like Wonderland or Over the Garden Wall where bizarre fairytale-esque shit happens in their set world. They seem to take place in the 1800s and have a very rustic feel.
Seriously, whats the exact genre/subgenre? Google says dark fantasy but i dont think thats really it.
