Hello,
I’m looking to develop my views on how economies are managed. And I would therefore ask you for books who share a fair light on both socialism and capitalism.
It doesn’t have to be a book that discusses both. I would love to know which book made you advocate for capitalism and one that makes you fight for socialism.
In sum, I would like to understand what are the best traits of each.

Try Contending Economic Theories by Richard Wolff
Pro socialism:
Principles of Communism by Friedrich Engels
Socialism: Utopian and Scientific by Friedrich Engels
Reform or Revolution by Rosa Luxemburg
The State and Revolution by Vladimir Lenin
Capital Vol 1-3 by Karl Marx
Why wouldn’t you want to understand the pros and cons of each system rather than read two books that emphasize only the good? Any book on Socialism or capitalism that only talks about the positives is going to be frothy politics rather than decent economics, if nothing else.
Capital in the Twenty-First Century by Piketty
That “in sum” was a miss. Indeed, I would prefer the good, the bad and the ugly of each 😄
Basic Economics by Thomas Sowell
Economic Facts and Fallacies by Thomas Sowell
The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith
