I’ve been feeling like reading something for once and thought I’d seize the opportunity.
I recently watched the new Netflix show Bodies and was completely taken by the perfect amount of information revealed at any time, it was the perfect amount of intellectual challenge. So I just want more of that feeling.
I also really really enjoy ancient civilizations and otherworldly horrors. Something slightly dark and psychological I think would fit me well. With nice twists and grand revelations where just enough is explained to the reader. Good lore for a lack of a better word.
I saw a recommendation somewhere of the book Until shadows lengthen, which seemed kind of up that alley.
