I just finished Strangers by Taichi Yamada (from which the film All of Us Strangers is based) and I loved it. It seems that some of Yamada’s work has not yet been translated to English/is not ready available in English. I was able to find and then ordered In Search of a Distant Voice, which will arrive in a few weeks. In the meantime, I’m hoping to find some other titles or authors in a similar vein to Yamada. thanks!
