Hey everyone, looking for some book recs.
1. I have wanted to read something like The Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles since 2021, but haven’t found anything quite like it. (i have read the other books by Towles, I found them good as well, but this one was amazing)
2. something like The Alchemist.
3. I recently read Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, and I would love to get some recs on philosophy (i am a beginner btw). Also, if you do have such recs, could you please specify the preferred author?
4. Something like The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.
5. Something like Circe or the Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller.
Anything else that you liked too! I am open to reading new genres and different kinds of books. I mainly want to be able to think from another perspective. I think Piranesi and 100 Years of Solitude by Garcia Marquez really did that for me.
Thanks in advance!!

For 2) I suggest [Siddhartha](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6115) by Hermann Hesse
For 4) [The Secret Lives of the Four Wives](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/9402137) by Lola Shoneyin might be up your alley
[Metropol](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/50838864-metropol) by Eugen Ruge actually takes place in the same hotel as The Gentleman in Moscow but it is a bit darker. Also not available in English.
A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry
Never Let Me Go or Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro
A friend recommended a new Australian author and it was actually pretty good for their first book. The Martian Legacy https://amzn.asia/d/8TL2RmD
