I want to start reading to enhance my vocabulary and feel more comfortable reading in general. Here are a few shows that I watch, hopefully this can help with suggestions.
\- Grey’s Anatomy, Handmaid’s Tail, Gilmore Girls, Law and Order: SVU, Desperate Housewives, Dexter, Sex and the City.

Read handmaids tale
My go to book rec for people who want to get into reading is Holes by Louis Sachar, because it appeals to all ages, has really short chapters, and is super engaging! It doesn’t specifically relate to the shows you mentioned, but I think there’s a good chance you’ll enjoy it anyway 🙂
If you’re a girl and into romance Colleen Hoover is a decent entry into reading. Her books are short and entertaining. She’s not the best author in the world but I know plenty of people who started reading again after reading a few of her books.
