I live in a country where politicians are corrupted and system just doesn’t function well and I don’t have any power to change anything. I work 8-16h and I don’t know what’s the point anymore. Do you have something that will bring me some peace, because I feel so angry and bitter

I’m so sorry about your situation. Just to clarify, are you looking for escapism or a book that reflects the anger and bitterness you might be feeling?

Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. Escapist fantasy seems like just what you need.

I’m sorry to hear that as it his very close to home, Idkn, if anything I can suggest to you be more than a temporary distraction, but I sometimes like to read war stories in such cases. I mean, some of the people back then, went through literal hell and they still somehow managed to live a fairly fulfilling life afterwards.
