I’m looking for something that has tones/themes similar to Horus Heresy but in a fantasy/medieval setting. Please don’t recommend the Prince of nothing series. Lots of rape =|= dark. Also I’m just wrapping up The First Law series which was also recommended as “dark” and while I’m enjoying it, I can’t understand why people thought it was dark.
