Not really sure if that’s too vague, so I’ll try to explain. I’m trying to look for a book that reminds me of the movie Promare: basically, a book in a cyberpunk/sci-fi setting, and it’s main appeal is being basically irreverent and ridiculous. Preferably something action-packed, doesn’t take itself too seriously. In Promare, the main characters battle systemic racism and government oppression, and they win through a huge mecha robot fight. So basically, something that doesn’t take itself seriously, and prioritises fun quirky characters and bits. Like an action sci fi comedy? Preferably with action scenes and a strong unique narrative voice! I apologise if this request is too specific, and thank you in advance 🙂
